Another World travels to Switch this Spring

Another World, the classic polygon platformer, will finally make the jump to Nintendo Switch, this April.

Announced ahead of tonight’s Nintendo Direct event, this platformer has previously made its way to all formats in a 20th Anniversary Edition. Now Switch gets to join the party with the Eric Chahi classic.

DotEmu will publish a game that has inspired many of the greats, including Ico and Metal Gear Solid. Originally releasing back in 1990, Another World follows the story of Lester Knight who opens a hole in the space-time continuum and is teleported to an unknown alien planet.

Another World is one of the most atmospheric, enigmatic titles of all-time and is full of dynamic puzzle solving and thrilling action from start to finish.

If you’ve somehow never played it, then next month on Switch certainly seems like the perfect time. The 20th Anniversary Edition includes remastered graphics, sound and gameplay, but you can also switch back to the classic view at anytime if you want to experience things old school.

More as we get it.
