Arkham Origins gets new story DLC next month

Next month, Batman: Arkham Origins will receive some new story-based DLC based on ninja.

Via DC All Access, Ames Kirshen, the VP of WB games described the ‘Initiation DLC’ as a ‘new kind of challenge map pack that’s got a little bit of narrative to it’. The DLC goes back to Wayne’s roots as he undergoes trials at a monastery full of ninja. The DLC hopes to help shape and define the Batman we come to meet in the main game.

No word on when the content will release.

Meanwhile, there are three new sets of non-story content. The Infinite Earths Skin Pack. The Black Mask Challenge Pack and Online Supply Drop #1.

Infinite Earth Skins Pack includes six costumes. They are, as follows…

  • Earth 2 Dark Knight
  • Long Halloween Batman
  • Batman: Dark Knight of the Round Table
  • Thrillkiller Batman
  • Earth 2 Batman
  • Classic Tim Drake Robin  (available in multiplayer mode only on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC)

The Infinite Earths Skins Pack is $4.99 on PSN, XBLA, and Steam, and $3.99 on Wii U.

The Black Mask Challenge Pack ($1.99 on all platforms), features a pair of new challenge maps, and Online Supply Drop #1 ($2.99 on all platforms), offers additional multiplayer clothing items and weapons.
