Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gets tons of free DLC, Story Pack, NG+, Level Cap Increase and more

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting lots of new content in February with a series of free DLC updates.

New Game + is the headline here, with all of your abilities, drachmae, equipment and more carrying over as you start an entirely new playthrough. You can also choose a different character from your previous playthrough!

Once you beat the main quest, there’s an option for New Game+ in the menu and you can load up a save to carry over to a new game.

The Lost Tales of Greece is also a new story pack, beginning with ‘A Brother’s Seduction’. You just need to have reached Chapter 5 in AC: Odyssey and you can access the new content for free as you try to resolve differences between two brothers.

Lots of new items are also going to be added in, including a Wild Boar Character Pack and Armor Set. There’s also a Deep Sea Hunter set, which includes a Naval set, enabling you to roam the waters with ease but also be effective on land.

The big surprise, though, is that the Level Cap is being increased to 99 due to the wealth of content being adeed to the game and this will, of course, carry forward to New Game+, adding even more incentive to dive back in for another run.

The mercenaries system is also evolved so mercenaries can claim spots back from you. More fast travel points are also added in with 22 new Viewpoints in the game. There’s even new photo frames coming to Photo Mode in time for a competition to win a Spartan Edition of the game.

With Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation Remastered also coming on March 29th, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey just keeps on giving.
