Assassin’s Creed: Origins Season Pass gets two story-driven expansions

While the free content was leaked ahead of a full reveal yesterday, Ubisoft have today confirmed Assassin’s Creed: Origins is getting a Season Pass.

The big news is that Origins will get two bumper story-based expansions in January 2018 and March 2018 respectively.

The first, entitled The Hidden Ones, will focus on the growth of the Brotherhood and take place years after the events of Origins. It will also extend the level cap imposed on the game at launch.

DLC 2, The Curse of the Pharaohs, focuses on Egyptian mythology where you will fight against undead pharaohs and explore a new area. Players will also get to encounter Anubis warriors and scorpions and get new abilities to use in battle. This DLC will extend the cap even further.

In addition to that, various other pieces of content will be available at launch, such as a 500 Helix Credits and a new rare weapon, the Calamity Blade. You’ll also get the Roman Centurion and Horus packs, complete with a new outfit, weapons, shield and mount, in November 2017.

You can get the Season Pass as part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition, or purchase it separately.
