Crackdown 3 adding DLC post launch, including Xbox Live Party Support

Crackdown 3 won’t have Xbox Live Party Functionality at launch, meaning you can’t chat to your friends while playing Wrecking Zone.

With the game due to launch this Friday, it comes as a surprise to learn that Wrecking Zone will not have Xbox Live party functionality at launch. Instead, this will be released post-launch in a future title update.

Confirmed by the Crackdown Twitter account, they’ve also revealed that there will be other post-launch DLC for the game but haven’t specified what it will be.

Unsurprisingly, the news has not gone down well with the top comment suggesting that even the original Crackdown shipped with this feature back in 2002.

However, others have praised the transparency and for the team addressing the issue before the game even hits store shelves, especially as if the feature is not quite ready for the masses.

It’s great to hear more Crackdown 3 is coming post-launch, though, especially since the developers have been so coy about DLC in the build up to release.

Crackdown 3 releases on Xbox One and Windows PC this Friday!
