Cut the Rope 2 officially released today, compatible with all devices with iOS 4.3 or later and has been optimized for iPhone 5.
With 120 new levels and locations, new characters, hats and completely reworked graphics, sound and gameplay (including the ability to actually move Om Nom), Cut the Rope 2 is a pretty substantial upgrade.
For the first time, we’ll meet Om Nom’s pals, the Nommies. Roto can carry Om Non to new locations. Lick can make small bridges with his tongue, allowing Om Nom to complete his challenges. Blue can lift Om Nom to new heights. Toss can (you guessed it) throw objects, including candy and Boo can scare Om Nom, making him leap for his life.
However, the big change is In-App Purchases. Players can spend up to £3.99 on individual in-game perks. The 10 in-app purchases include Solutions, additional balloons, the ability to unlock all level, a superhero set and a powerpack.
Cut the Rope 2 is available now on all iOS devices. It is expected to release on Android ‘early next year’
