Dead Rising 3 DLC Operation Eagle delayed to 2014

The first major content pack for Dead Rising 3, Operation Eagle, has been pushed back to January for a ‘few weeks’ extra polish.

The DLC was originally supposed to drop next week on Christmas Eve, however it will now release almost a full month later on January 21st.

Operation Eagle will add new weapons and a new vehicle to the game. There will also be a new playable character, Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane and players will be able to play an exclusive mission as Kane where he sets out to capture the missing President of the United States.

The word from Microsoft comes, as follows…

Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it’s released. Stay tuned for additional updates.
