Don’t Starve Together DLC Roadmap for 2019 revealed

Don’t Starve Together is set to receive a ton of content in 2019 as the development team outline a twelve month DLC roadmap.

The content will let survivors visit new lands and confront new biomes and creatures with the first batch of content expected in mid-April. From that point on, new content will be added to Don’t Starve Together every few months afterwards and all of it will be free.

Each character will also receive revamped abilities and there will even be some narrative additions, giving them more of a backstory. In March, Winona will be the first to get a character refresh and new skins will be offered for a price, including the Triumphant, Guest of Honor and Survivor skin packs.

New survivors will also be added to the game, starting mid-March, and they will come at a cost, currently estimated to be $6.99 each.

What’s more, console versions of the game shouldn’t lag behind the PC counterparts as much going forward, with Klei Development investing in new technology to quickly update the game without the lengthy certification. This begins with the Year of the Pig King event which will launch within 2 days of the PC version, dropping tomorrow on PC!

Don’t Starve Together is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and we’ll keep you up to date with any new DLC and developments as they release.
