E3 2018: Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC shocks and surprises

Destiny 2 owned perhaps the most talked about moment of E3 with the death of a beloved character.

Destiny 2 will have a massive expansion later this year entitled Forsaken and the story reveal trailer confirmed the death of none other than Cayde-6.

Nathan Fillion’s wise-cracking hunter is toast and his demise sets the tone for the upcoming expansion with the stakes higher than ever before.

In an interview with PlayStation Blog, even Scott Taylor, project lead on Destiny 2: Forsaken admits the ‘reaction to this has been all over the place across the studio’.

But not only is the narrative hitting us in the feels, Bungie are going ‘all-in’ on Forsaken, saying every bit of feedback they’ve had since launch is going to play a part in this new expansion. Bold claim.

In Forsaken, you’ll hunt down 8 Barons and their crew, visit two new locations, The Tangled Shore and The Dreaming City. There’ll be a new Raid, a 4v4 Competitive PvE mode called Gambit, new story missions, weapon archetypes, and nine additional supers.

It’s the big one, and it arrives on September 4 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
