During the E3 Nintendo Direct, it was confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will receive its massive story DLC on September 14.

Entitled Torna: The Golden Country, players were teased with the return of both Rex and Pyra.

Players received a history lesson at the beginning of the trailer, talking about the fall of Omrantha.

The DLC sees players aim to stop the Aegis’s destruction as you venture into the past of Jin, Mythra and Malos .

The DLC will be available for Expansion Pass and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 holders only. Torna: The Golden Country is also set to receive a physical release on September 21.

This is set to be the final DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with previous updates adding rare blades and new quests. As of June 14, a Battle Challenge Mode Pack is also being added to the game when patch 1.5.0 goes live.

Shulk and Fiora will be playable blades in the Challenge Mode where players complete challenges to claim additional rewards.
