We may be about to move onto a new gen, but it seems the desire for HD remakes of the classics has never been stronger.
Lionhead have sprung to action and are ready to appease legions of their fans by remaking the game that put them on the map: Fable.
A new forum was created yesterday which led many to believe a new instalment in the Fable franchise was set to be announced. However, it seems the company are thinking backwards (in a good or bad way, depending on your point of view) and will be re-releasing Fable 1 for Xbox 360 and Windows PC, this holiday seasons.
This teaser trailer certainly shows Jack of Blades is back to cause all sorts of magic and mayhem…
UPDATE
Fable Anniversary will feature re-imagined graphics, achievements, almost-instant loading times, a new interface and even SmartGlass support. The Anniversary edition will come bundled with Fable: The Lost Chapters, the game’s one and only expansion pack.
