Forza broadens Horizons with two more expansions in January

Fasten your seatbelts, Forza Horizon is about to kick into another gear with not one, but two new expansion packs.

The Recaro Car Pack is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace and has probably become the first piece of DLC to launch in 2013. Yay, Turn 10!

With the Recaro Pack, Turn 10 Studios have brought the 2012 Lexus LF-A Nürburgring Edition to the game, alongside the 2012 Lotus Exige S, the 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R, the 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500 and more. Check out the below video to see these beauties in action…

Fans of the series will no doubt recognize some of these cars from Forza 4. I guess now we know why they were omitted from the retail edition of Forza Horizon. The Recaro Car Pack can be downloaded for 400 Microsoft Points, or if you’re a Season Pass Holder, then… well…you already paid for it.

In addition, Turn 10 have also announced the Honda Challenge Car Pack, set to arrive on the 15th January.  Expect to see elite Honda vehicles, such as the brand new, 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, an HPD Rally Fit, and a 1986 Honda Civic Si Coupe. However, this isn’t just about having a fancy garage. The Honda Challenge Car Pack also includes an online race challenge set by Scott Dixon. If players beat the time, they have a chance to meet the man in the flesh.

Oh, and the best bit? The Honda Challenge Car pack will be completely free to download!

VROOOM!

VROOOM!

Better start revving those engines….
