Gears of War 4 gets two Legacy Maps on November 1

Gears of War 4 Season Pass holders will receive their first piece of content on November 1st in the form of two classic Gears maps. Checkout and Dry Dock. More excitingly, from November onwards, Season Pass holders will receive two new maps each month!

And as part of the early access Developer Playlist they will be added to the Versus Dodgeball and Arms Race modes for squads up to three large and Horde Players on Normal Difficulty on free public playlists on November 8th

You may remember the supermarket setting of Checkout from Gears 3. This classic map is filled with both close-quarters and fast-paced lane action. It’s one of my all-time favourites and I can’t wait to get back to it.

Drydock – the ship building facility – also returns from Gears 3 and looks as fantastic as ever. Here’s a clip.

As Season Passes go, Gears 4 is certainly one of the most generous with a whopping 24 maps releasing across a full year lifecycle.

Here’s hoping we see a nice mix of old and new. We’ll put together some coverage once these maps go live.
