Hearthstone now officially launched. Mobile versions coming soon

Blizzard’s insanely addictive card-collection game has finally moved out of Open Beta and is now available. This free-to-play game can be downloaded right now and enjoyed with all of your friends across Battle.net.

Hearthstone is currently available on Mac and PC. An iPad version of the game is set to arrive soon. Meanwhile, Android, iPhone and Windows tablet versions are in development and will be made available at a later date.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play digital card game where you face off against friends, enemies or AI and try to beat them with your best hand. Familiar Warcraft staples are present throughout, with players able to play classes such as Shamans and Paladins and butt their heads against familiar heroes and villians in the Warcraft universe.

It’s a busy month for Blizzard. Between today’s Hearthstone launch and the first Diablo 3 expansion next week, the publisher/developer is back and in a big way. Hearthstone also releases ahead of the fifth World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenai, due for release on/before December 2014.

Anyway, enough talking. If you’ve not done it already,go to playhearthstone.com  and start playing. Just don’t blame us if you don’t come up for air until this time next week! It’s great!
