Octopath Traveller confirmed not to receive DLC

In an interview with Dengeki Online, Octopath Traveler producer, Masashi Takahashi confirmed there will be no DLC.

Octopath Traveler is a Switch exclusive RPG from Square Enix, releasing July 13, and is said to have between 80 – 100 hours worth of content. As far as Takahashi is concerned ‘The product version is the finished product’.

When asked about the possibility of DLC, he further went on to say. ‘I do not think at all.’

Seems fair with the amount of content on offer. A huge three hour Octopath Traveler ‘Prologue’ demo is currently available on the eShop if you’re on the fence about buying it.
