Finally announced today is the much anticipated sequel to the popular PopCap game Plants vs Zombies, and yes, its aptly named ‘Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time’. The game is set for a July release window.
The announcement came from the twitter account of one Stephanie Bayer the community manager at Pop Cap games.
This was later followed up with the release of a teaser trailer, where developer Pop Cap worked with YouTube personality ‘Francis the angry gamer ‘ to reveal both the games sub-title ‘Its About Time’ and its release date of July. Apart from this, however, precious few details were revealed about the game.
PopCap’s original game Plants vs Zombies has been massively popular, both commercially and critically on every platform it has graced (which is pretty much all of them). Because of this, the highly anticipated sequel has the gaming world hanging on for every detail as the trailer can attest to… go on take a look for yourself!
