Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield confirmed for November 2019, new region and starter Pokémon revealed

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will release November 2019 for Nintendo Switch and be set in a brand new region.

Gen 8 of Pokémon has been officially revealed with the all new Galar region which is full of countryside, cities, mountains and plains.

The Direct was short, but we also met the three new starters for Gen 8 – Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

Grookey is a mischevious, leaf type chimp Pokémon. It stole our hearts with its sweeping tail and a cute grin.

Meanwhile, Scorbunny is a fire rabbit type Pokémon that’s full of beans, energy, and feathers.

Finally, Sobble is a Water Lizard Pokémon, who’s a little shy so hides itself in water, though is also dangerous with its spitting attacks.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield is getting a simultaneous worldwide release in November 2019, and is apparently not the only Pokémon related title we’re going to see this year. We suspect more will be announced at E3.

Which is your favourite starter type? I’m quickly becoming a Scorbunny guy!
