Saint’s Row IV developer Volition Inc has confirmed that the game’s first downloadable expansion pack, entitled ‘Enter the Dominatrix’ will launch within 45 days of the game’s release in August.
Originally coined as a DLC pack for Saint’s Row the Third, the concept of Enter the Dominatrix will involve players fighting aliens in a virtual world, and will take the form of a mockumentary featuring the game’s cast.
It was revealed during a Comic-Con panel by Volition studio head Steve Jaros that Enter the Dominatrix will focus on behind-the-scenes footage of the characters as they jokingly discuss why the expansion concept was cut and re-purposed into a full game.
Saints Row IV will be released across Europe on August 23rd and in the US on August 20th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
