Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Pre-Order DLC Guide

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will make its long-awaited arrival this week so we’ve put together a brief pre-order DLC guide.

Releasing March 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a new IP developed by FROM Software, they of Dark Souls and Bloodbourne fame.

Set in feudal Japan, you play a disgraced warrior on a quest for vengeance, hacking and slashing your way through enemies aplenty in a bid to restore your honour.

While there’s been no official confirmation of post-launch DLC or free content updates, you can pick up a few digital extras to support the game’s release.

If you pick up a physical copy at GAME for £49.99, you’ll also receive an exclusive digital artbook and soundtrack

Pick it up from the Playstation Store for £59.99, and you’ll snag yourself two dynamic themes for the background. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Dynamic Theme and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice ‘Hirata Estate’ Dynamic Theme.

Meanwhile on Xbox, you’ll get a Sekiro Prosthetic Arm Item and Sekiro Grappling Hook Item for your Avatar. Again for £59.99.

Alternatively, there’s a Collector’s Edition with lots of cool physical bonuses, though they are in very limited supply now.

The Collector’s Edition includes…

  • Sekiro in Steelbook
  • 7″ Shinobi Statue
  • Map
  • Replica Game Coins
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • Collectible Artbook

Other exclusives include a Double Sided Poster and Replica Katana Letter Opener at GameStop USA.

And in Japan, there’s an exclusive sleeve and physical copy of the soundtrack, plus a code for the digital artbook and a PS4 theme.

There’s no DLC currently available for the game which adds any benefits or additional content to the base game.

We spent a bit of time with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at Gamescom and absolutely love the grappling mechanic coupled with the sword play. With the cool Japanese setting and distinct, bad ass enemies you come up against gives you a distinctly FROM experience but from an entirely refreshing perspective.

Sekiro launches March 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
