Shadow, the less popular black and red hedgehog, will be appearing in Sonic Forces as free DLC
Shadow has had a topsy, turvy gaming journey, with a sub-par self-titled release a few years back, but a memorable debut in Sonic Adventure 2.
While he was notably absent from the excellent Sonic Mania, he’ll be popping up plenty in the upcoming Sonic Forces as a playable character.
Thanks to a tweet from the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account, we know Episode Shadow is comprised of three DLC levels that will explore the rise to power of the games’ villain, Infinite.
We don’t know what Shadow’s intentions are this time around, nor do we know what type of content will feature in these DLC levels. This gameplay teaser, however, gives us a pretty decent idea of what to expect.
Sonic Forces releases November 7 on PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. Episode Shadow will be free for all players once the game launches.
