Soul Calibur VI gets the sword-fighting expertise of The Witcher

Soul Calibur VI will add The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, to its roster as a guest character.

Soul Calibur has always had some intriguing and exciting guest characters over the last twenty years, including Link, Ezio, Dante and Darth Vader. Geralt is both a logical and welcome addition to that elite group.

In addition to being able to play as the White Wolf, Doug Cockle will resume his vocal duties, there will be the familiar ‘Hunt or be Hunted’ composition from the game, and you’ll be able to fight in Kaer Morhen, the familiar training school for Witchers.

Geralt joins Nightmare, Ivy, Kilik, and Mitsurugi Sophitia as confirmed characters and looks like he’s been ripped straight out of the game.

Soul Calibur VI is due to launch in 2018. We got some hands-on with it recently and look forward to sharing some coverage soon.
