Nintendo have confirmed that Splatoon 2 will receive its first premium expansion this summer in Octo Expansion.

For the first time, there will be a playable Octoling with Agent 8 in new single-player content. In the expansion, Agent 8 wakes up in an underground facility where she has no memories.

 

As she uncovers those memories though, she’ll learn more about the game’s characters, but also familiar faces and even Splatoon lore.

Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion releases this summer for $19.99 and is now available to pre-order. Those that do will unlock Octo Headgear and clothes to use in Splatoon 2 from today.
