Star Wars Battlefront 2 Progression System gets revamp, new DLC

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be getting a new progression system thanks to fan feedback, as well as a new season of DLC.

The revamped progression system is being worked on now as ‘significant changes’ will ‘address many of the things we’ve seen players asking for’. More details will come in March, but this is likely in response to the controversy surrounding loot boxes

Battlefront 2 will also get a new game mode called Jetpack Cargo in February. The mode will only be available for a limited time and will see two teams of eight players – all wearing jetpacks – face off.

Finally, a new season of DLC will be announced for the game soon, though there is no further details on what that will include. Last month, a new hero and ship was added to the game in an update during the Last Jedi content season.

All DLC for Star Wars Battlefront II will be released as free updates.
