Star Wars The Last Jedi DLC details confirmed for Battlefront II

The upcoming Star Wars The Last Jedi film will get some tie-in DLC for Star Wars Battlefront II.

As expected, the content will feature new maps and additional characters relevant to the movie. The DLC will also force you to choose a side between the Resistance and the New Order. Whichever you choose will come with a series of challenges and rewards. In turn, you will get faction specific rewards.

From there, on December 13th, Finn will join the fight for the Resistance and Captain Phasma will be playable for the First Order. Whichever faction records the most victories in any particular week will then get a special crate with power upgrades for that particular character.

There will also be a new plantary map with Crait and Starfighter Assault map of D’qar. A new hero ship will also be added – Tallie Lintra’s RZ-2 A-wing. Poe Dameron’s T-70 X-Wing will also get a new upgrade inspired by The Last Jedi.

There will even be a new single player chapter to play through as you join Commander Iden Versio during the First Order’s rise to power.

As previously documented, all Star Wars Battlefront II expansions will be completely free. Here’s the full content roadmap for The Last Jedi Season.
