Steep Road to the Olympics expansion releases December 5

A massive expansion to last year’s ski-em-up from Ubisoft will launch this December on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Entitled ‘Road to the Olympics’, Steep becomes an officially licensed product of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.

The expansion will feature enhanced features for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and adds a brand new story mode to the game.  You play as a young athlete who plays in three freestyle events (Big Air, Half Pipe and Slopestyle). The aim is to be the first athlete to win gold in all three disciplines.

You’ll be able to explore the authentically recreated South Korean mountains, receive valuable training tips, and gain Olympian insight from the likes of Lindsey Vonn and Sage Kotsenburg.

You can also pick up the new Steep Winter Games Edition, which includes the base game as well as the new expansion.

Road to the Olympics drops December 5th. No word on if we’ll ever see that Switch version.
