Taiko No Tatsujin in Europe for the first time from today

PlayStation 4 and Switch owners in Europe will be able to buy Japanese Arcade Classic Taiko No Tatsujin for the very first time from retailers.

The Japanese Rhythm game is reminiscent of Donkey Konga from the Gamecube days and sees players tap to the beat of some familiar tunes.

The Switch version will let you use both Joy-Con controllers as drumsticks in Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! with unrivalled motion play. You can also tap the screen to the beat, or, alternatively, get the drum controllers bundled with it at retail.

The Switch version will have 20 multiplayer mini games and even let you use vintage Nintendo characters such as Kirby and Squid.

PlayStation 4 owners, meanwhile, can pick up Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session with the option to go online in ranked competition, and even take part in the Tobidase World Taiko Fest where you can compete for Festival Points and gain new greetings and costumes. Pac-Man and Hello Kitty even come along for the ride!

Taiko no Tatsujin is available now for Switch and PS4.
