The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr confirmed for May 20, adds Necromancer class

The Elder Scrolls Online celebrates five years with the Season of the Dragon and a new expansion, Elsweyr.

Releasing May 20 on PC/Mac and June 4 on Xbox and PlayStation, the expansion will take players to the Khajiiti homeland, and add a brand new class, Necromancer.

As we noted, there are four major pieces of content per year and Bethesda have outlined the schedule this year. It is, as follows.

  1. Wrathstone DLC dungeon pack
  2. Elsweyr Chapter
  3. Unannounced Q3 DLC dungeon pack
  4. Unannounced Q4 DLC story zone

Best of all, dragons are joining the game and can be battled. They will join the game and be part of a major story told over four quarterly releases. Elsweyr will also add a 12 player Trial, Sunspire, new Dragon attacks world wide, new public dungeons and quests, on top of the usual QoL updates.

If you pre-purchase, you will get the Rahd-M’athra Horse Mount, as well as a Noble ClanC Chief Costume and a Dragon Imp Pet!
