Poor old Vergil. We know the guy is going to have a bit of a Michael Douglas/Falling Down moment, and we had expected him to get it out of his system this week. Sadly for him (and us), he’ll be waiting a while longer.
Those who pre-ordered DmC: Devil May Cry would have received a code for the Vergil’s Downfall DLC and likely punched it in almost right away (because, you know, that’s what you do..)
Unfortunately, there was nothing available to download, leaving a lot of vexed and confused people. What Capcom failed to tell us is … Vergil’s Downfall isn’t ready yet.
Capcom have now confirmed that the DLC will not launch until the ‘end of February’, but still can’t offer a firm release date just yet.
As we’ve previously reported, Vergil’s Downfall chronicles the dark and twisted path Dante’s brother follows on the road to the main game.
