Virtuous opening new mobile gaming studio

Virtuous, a company responsible for technology in games like Heavy Rain, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Assassin’s Creed, are opening a new mobile games studio in Paris.

Situated near the beautiful Notre Dame cathedral, the studio will be led by former Nintendo and Ubisoft designer and marketer, Jean-Baptiste Fleury.

Fleury’s experience has seen him work on brands such as Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, as well as the entire Ubisoft portfolio.

The studio’s unveiling comes off the back of Virtuous recent mobile release – Carbon Warfare – a game focused on the effects of global warming.

CEO and founder of Virtuous, Gilles Langourieux is excited to get things off the ground and says ‘The Paris Notre Dame studio allows us to leverage creative talents in France as well as to attract international talents who would like to experience the historic Paris.’

We look forward to hearing more from the team in the coming weeks and months ahead and wish them all a successful setup.
