The Walking Dead Collection enhanced visuals shown off in new trailer

Ahead of next week’s release, Telltale have launched a new comparison trailer to show off the enhanced visuals of The Walking Dead Collection.

The trailer shows off footage from the original scene and compares it the enhanced visuals in the new collector’s edition.

The Walking Dead Collection arrives December 5 and gathers all 19 episodes of the Telltale series together on one disc for PS4 and Xbox One. This includes The Walking Dead Season One and Two, 400 Days, the three-part Michonne mini-series and the latest season, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.

The collection has been put together ahead of the final fourth season due in 2018.

Among other things, the texture details have been revamped by generating high-resolution meshes for Season One and Two characters, and the vertex count has been increased. Shading has also been increased from DX9 to DX11 and post-processing effects have been added.

On top of that, the UI has been upgraded to the one found in the latest season of The Walking Dead.

The game genuinely looks massively improved and we can’t wait to see this definitive cut of, what still remains, Telltale’s finest work.
