In some exciting news, IO Interactive have confirmed that 007 First Light has gone gold!
That means the May 27 release date is locked in and barring a total Skyfall, will release on PC, PS and Xbox.
007 First Light is a reimagining of Bond’s origin story and sees Patrick Gibson – aka Young Dexter from Original Sin – take on the lead role of the iconic agent.
In addition to a title song from the wonderful Lana Del Ray, 007 First Light tells an original, new story as Bond attempts to gain his license to kill. Featuring familiar Bond characters such as M and Miss Moneypenny and other well known actors such as Lennie James and Lenny Kravitz.
It’s been years since the last Bond game from Activision in 2012 and is made by Hitman developer IO Interactive, with some very familiar, Agent 47 feeling and looking gameplay.
In fact, we just recently got a look at some in-game action.
Pre-orders are open for 007 First Light and you get a free Deluxe Edition with 24 hours early access and additional content and it will release on May 27 for PC, PS and Xbox.
