In today’s unexpected news story, two fantastic games are about to collaborate with each other for a major new update.

Strife and Ruin brings Blasphemous and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night together, uniting Miriam and The Penitent One.

The free update is available from February 18th and will add new challenges, a special reward, a Boss Rush Mode, and a Demake area which downgrades the game to 8-bit.

You can use new render modes which emulate older TVs. Best of all the entire game will be playable in this way.

The Strife and Ruin update is free for all who own Blasphemous and will be available from February 18th on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox.
