You can now pre-order an upgrade pack for Civ VII on Switch 2 to upgrade the game for launch day.

Those who own Sid Meier’s Civilization VII on Nintendo Switch already can pay an additional £8.99 to get the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game ready for June 5.

The base game itself retails for £49.99 right now and if you pick up the Switch 2 version, it will of course have much improved performance as well as support for Switch 2’s Mouse-like JoyCons. That, in itself, feels like a fantastic upgrade for the game.

Of course, you can also pick up the Deluxe Editions and Crossroads of the World Collections on Switch as well to expand the wider gaming experience. You can read more about our thoughts on Civ 7, but spoiler – it’s great! And this is a cool get and launch title for Switch 2.
