It appears that, at least for the time being, the remastering of Crash Bandicoot’s first three games will be a Playstation 4 exclusive.
There had been some speculation it could appear on Switch and Xbox, but a tweet from Playstation Ireland seems to have thrown cold water on that. At least for now.
When Irishgamerman asked them outright ‘is it only on ps4’ in response to the new trailer, Playstation Ireland simply replied ‘Hi David, this will be PS4 exclusive.’
This certainly makes plenty of sense considering THAT scene in Uncharted 4, as well as all Crash’s PlayStation heritage and the fact it’s only ever been promoted at Sony conferences.
The game IS being built by Activision, though, so that’s not to say other users won’t get a chance to play at some point in the future.
Just, maybe don’t hold your breath while waiting.
Fortunately, if you do have a PS4, you can grab the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy on June 30th. Not long now!
