Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will get Spyro as DLC, additional Grand Prix events

If you needed further proof that Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is more than just a remake, then its DLC might convince you.

Stealthily announced during E3 by Activision, the game is expected to receive extensive post-launch support through free updates.

The biggest story is that Spyro the Dragon will become a playable character in a future update, along with his own Grand Prix, hopefully including familiar Spyro levels.

The DLC begins on July 3 with the ‘Nitro Tour’ Grand Prix, adding new track Twilight Tour, as well as extra challenges, items, and Tawna as a character.

Following that is the ‘Back N Time’ Grand Prix, adding the Prehistoric Playground track.

CTR Nitro-Fueled releases for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on June 21.
