The next killer coming to Dead by Daylight will be none other than Ghostface from Scream.

We don’t know when it will release as the character hasn’t been officially revealed yet. That said, it’s definitely very real as this Tweet shows.

As you can see, there is a blanked slate on the selection screen, but when Morf hovers over it, the Ghostface killer appears on the right side of the screen. Oops.

It seems the developer has let this one out a bit early and it appears we’ve got some first hand ideas of the characters abilities as well.

Some lucky players got a glimpse of our upcoming chapter release content in today’s mid-chapter update. We already pushed the right update live to all players on PC and PS4. XBOX users will receive it within a few days. In the meantime, enjoy the early hype on the next chapter!

There is an ‘obsession’ ability which sees Ghostface fixate on one survivor. Ghostface also has an ability which removes his terror radius for a period of time.

Ghostface joins the likes of Mike Myers and Freddy Krueger as licensed killers in Dead by Daylight. Expect a full reveal very soon. And hopefully some evidence that Sidney Prescott will be in as a survivor.
