Kalypso Media’s Dungeon 3’s RTS adventure has just received a rather unexpected DLC in more ways than one.

Adding to the extensive single player, this DLC adds a new campaign to the game which is fully voiced and spans across three new maps.

The Unexpected DLC also has a new boss in The Queen of the Forest, and a new creep type called Rootling.

Set after the Absolute Evil’s triumphs and defeating the Goddess of Light, the group find a place of refuge in the evergreen woods, overseen by The Queen of the Forest. However, she doesn’t take kindly to strangers and would-be trespassers, seeing the group as opposers.

So, it’s up to you to fight through the woodlands and exterminate all the bad things growing and living there. Sounds ominous.
