A huge free update has arrived for The Escapists 2 on PC in the form of a free prison map editor.
This highly requested fan feature will let you design and create custom prisons to play (is that really the right word?) in.
You’ll be able to drag and drop elements easily over two doors, vent layers and a roof.
What’s more, any created prisons can then be shared through Steam Workshop and played both solo or in multiplayer.
No word yet on if/when the Prison Map Editor will come to other formats. A Switch version of The Escapists 2 is also in development.
