Final Fantasy XV Spring 2017 DLC gets new trailer

We know Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to get a wealth of DLC in 2017 and while we know what the DLC will be about, we haven’t seen any of it in action.

Until now, that is.

This new trailer shows the 2017 updates for the game, including the currently running Moogle Chocobo Carnival which enables players to run Chocobo races and wear crazy outfits.

The trailer also shows off the new Booster Pack set to release on the 21st February which adds loads of new special attacks which will prove very effective against the big bosses.

The most exciting part of the trailer is our first real look at Episode Gladiolus, scheduled to release on 28th March. Here we see Gladio in full bad-ass form, kicking ass with his giant sword, alongside Ignis and the others. The episode looks pretty darn slick actually and will certainly get us back into the world of Final Fantasy.

And as for the end of the trailer … talk about a cliffhanger. We see the normally jovial, happy-go-lucky Prompto out in the cold, gun shaking in his hand, looking visibly distraught as if he’s about to pull the trigger on someone. But who? And why?

Check it out for yourself. We’ll be sure to tell you more as soon as we get the DLC in our grubby hands. For now, though, play the game. Because it’s amazing and probably one of the best RPGs ever made.
