A full Overview Trailer has been released for Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave ahead of release this week.

It’s the latest in the Fire Emblem franchise and the first full release on Nintendo Switch 2, introducing a whole new environment and cast of characters.

It first shows character customisation for your character before diving into the stunning abilities you can pull off with you and your party.

The game has an incredible animated, cut-scene style but follows the traditional style you’ve come to learn from the series with an isometric view and turn-based action.

With different weapon types, obstacles to overcome, and special moves that can turn the tide of battle, this feels like vintage Fire Emblem but new twists.

The game also offers different class types which can give you new ways to battle as well as explore using a wider world map and visit shops in towns for upgrades.

Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave looks like it’s going to be a fantastic addition to the Switch 2 lineup as well as a magnificent new addition to a legendary franchise.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17.
