Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a free co-op mode releasing this Fall

If you’ve finished Ghost of Tsushima and think you’re done with the game then Sucker Punch has some news for you.

This Fall, a massive free expansion is being added to the game called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. And it’s adding co-op.

Legends is an entirely separate entity to the base game, adding a new online co-op mode that has nothing to do with Jin or the base game.

Legends focuses on four other warriors from folk lore and mythology.

Legends is designed to be played together with between 2 to 4 players, whether you’re joining up with friends or in online matchmaking.

The four character classes will be Samurai, Ronin, Hunter and Assassin, with each one offering unique traits and abilities.

There will be a bunch of Story missions in the expansion, each growing with difficulty and having some link to the main campaign, but with new twists.

And Sucker Punch have even revealed a four person Raid will be coming to Legends shortly after launch which will see you fight an even tougher foe.

Sounds absolutely fantastic and a great way to prolong your time with Ghost of Tsushima. Presumably, it also comes at a good time around the launch of PS5 for those who’ve yet to pick up the game and fancy seeing even prettier sights on next-gen.
