Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition coming this year

Remasters of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas have been confirmed for current-gen platforms this year.

First teased by Rockstar Games on Friday, then backed up with a press blast at the same time, Rockstar Dundee are working on updating these classics for new formats.

WIth October being such a significant month for GTA 3, we expect more news in the next few weeks, but we do know the collection is coming to Switch, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2021.

Mobile editions on iOS and Android are also expected in the first half of 2022.

Both visual and gameplay improvements have been confirmed for the remasters and their arrival will see original listings of the games across all stores removed within the next week.

We’re very excited to play these games once again, it’s been a very long time. Certainly welcome news from Rockstar, indeed.

More as we get it.
