Metal Gear Rising to the VR Challenge

Japanese gaming mag, Dengeki PlayStation, appear to have unveiled Konami’s post launch plans for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Konami will release VR Missions and sub-stories as additional content for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance once the game has been released. If you’ll remember, VR Missions were a big part of previous Raiden-focused game, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, so this certainly ties in with the heritage of the franchise. VR missions are training missions with set requirements, and usually must be completed within a limited time frame.

There are no further details to share at this point (including which characters will see their stories expanded), but we will be sure to work closely with Konami to see if we can learn more.
