NieR Replicant getting a bunch of additional content at launch

The re-telling of the original NieR game releases this Friday and we’ve got a ton of new information about it.

Following the success of NieR: Automata, Square Enix have remade NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 and added in an all new episode, some new dungeons, and more.

The extra ‘Mermaid’ episode is a full story scenario, containing new characters, a wrecked ship, and a boss battle.

Square Enix have also added Extra Dungeons from 15 Nightmares, which was previously DLC for the original release in Japan. This contains a series of increasingly more challenging dungeons where you can unlock new weapons..

Additional costumes have also been added in, such as Kabuki and Samurai. You can even change the appearence of the bullets to Emil’s face!

Additionally, a free 4 YoRHa costume pack DLC will be available at launch to give the game a NieR: Automata flair, including designs for 2B and 9S.

Replicant also contains the soundtrack to NieR: Automata and guest casts from characters in the game.

NieR Replicant releases on April 23rd on PS4/XO and PC.
