The Wales Games Development Show will be held in Cardiff this Wednesday and as part of the event, BAFTA Cymru will be presenting awards to select games in Wales.
Sponsored by Cyfle, the Academy yesterday announced the shortlist for the British Academy Cymru Award for Games.

Go Candy (Wales Interactive)
Vectrex (Rantmedia Games)

In addition, the ceremony will include the presentation of 4 other special commendations. The categories include
- Game Design
- Artistic Achievement
- Technical Achievement
- Sound and Music
The nominees and winners of the commendations, along with the winner of the British Academy Cymru Award for Games ,will be announced during the Games Development Show in a special ceremony. This will be spearheaded by a keynote speech from Ian Livingstone.
