Quake 2 Remastered Surprise Releases across all formats

Rumoured to be in development, now confirmed and released today, Quake 2 is back.

Following the remaster of Quake, the very different sequel has now been dropped on Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation, Switch and PC following a reveal at QuakeCon.

This remastering includes new content, visual improvements, local split-screen, online multiplayer, and more.

The remaster contains full campaign and expansions, with modern enhancements, like crossplay and dynamic lighting.

It also includes enhanced models, improved AI, new effects, and, of course, all of the previous expansions and mission packs, along with an all-new expansion – Call of the Machine – from MachineGames.

With 4K support and up to 120FPS, this is as definitive as it gets for Quake 2. And it’s out now, wherever you play. You don’t want to miss this classic.
