Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass introduces two waves of DLC

During last night’s Nintendo Direct, more content was confirmed for Splatoon 3.

An all new Expansion Pass has been released, with two waves of content. The first takes players back to Inkopolis this Spring.

All weapon and gear from Splatsville with be the same, but it does mean you can go back to familiar haunts from previous Splatoon games.

There will be Squid Sisters playing during Splatfests and there’s Amiibo functionality, along with Salmon Run, Table Turf and Battle Show.

Wave 2 seems much more enigmatic with no set release date. Known only as Side Order, everything looks washed out in this new world. For now, at least, it seems more research is needed.

If you pre-load the Expanion Pass you can get bonus in-game items which can be used right now, but Inkopolis won’t launch until later this Spring.

Splatoon 3 is out now exclusively on Nintendo Switch. And it’s fantastic!
