Splatoon Raiders brings single player to the fore front

The fourth instalment in the Splatoon series has finally arrived and this one is taking a slightly different approach.

Splatoon Raiders is more of a solo entry point for the franchise and is seen as a solo first, story based game compared to the usual multiplayer madness of the initial trilogy.

This spin-off does have a co-operative mode, though, where you can play with up to four players – online or locally – to splat through the content, and the game takes on a more roguelike mission approach.

This is a Switch 2 exclusive where treasure hunting is the order of the day as you fight back against the Salmonids with a range of unique weapons. Which is just as well as the Salmonids have their unique methods of attack and battle.

Splatoon Raiders looks fantastic and a great way to dive into the series if you’ve never checked it out before. It’s out now, excluisvely on Nintendo Switch 2!
