It’s hard to believe that Year 3 of Street Fighter 6 is about to kick off but the game is in the best state yet.

Following release on Nintendo Switch 2 last week and the conclusion of Year 2, during Summer Games Fest, Capcom announced the beginning of Year 3 with legendary fighter, Sagat, joining the roster this Summer.

Announced through AEW Superstar, Kenny Omega, in the most hilarious way possible as he dressed up as each fighter in a locker room, we got the entire roster for Year 3, beginning with Sagat who looks more ferocious and bad ass than ever in the Summer.

He will be followed by C. Viper in the Autumn, adorned in her traditional Battle Suit. And then in the Winter, Alex will return from Street Fighter V in high flying fashion.

Year 3 concludes in Spring 2026 with Ingrid, a powerful, mysterious being, who first debuted in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX and has appeared in the likes of Street Fighter X Tekken, SNK vs Capcom and Capcom Fighters Network.

A strong crop of fighters coming to the game over the next few months, but really we’re just excited to be dishing out some Tiger Uppercuts again.
