Strike Suit: To Infinity And PC – April 30th

Born Ready Games are a hard working bunch. They only recently released their Kickstarter funded space blast-em up Strike Suit Zero in January this year, but they are already poised to release more space-aged mayhem for PC gamers.

Strike Suit Infinity is a standalone score attack game where intrepid pilots battle against endless swarms of enemies. They will need all the tricks they have picked up playing the full game to turn back the increasingly difficult waves of enemies with the aim of becoming number one and topping online leaderboards.

The PR blurbs states

“In order to reach the top of the leaderboard, players will need to successfully chain their scoring to increase their score multiplier. The multiplier will decay however, so players must maintain rhythm while quickly despatching enemy ships. In between the rounds, players can use credits earned during combat to purchase reinforcements. Reinforcements range from Interceptors and Fighters all the way up to Cruisers and Frigates – challenging players to make strategic choices to get to the top of the leaderboard.”

Sounds shiny to me.

You can get your grubby little mitts on Strike Suit Infinity through Steam from 30 April for the princely sum of £4.99 ( or $6.99 / €5.99 if you’re not from Englands green and fertile lands).

If that wasn’t enough space war fans, owners of Strike Suit Zero will soon be treated to some exciting DLC in the form of the Heroes of the Fleet mission pack. No further details yet, but as soon as we have them we will let you know.

Transmission ends.
